Good morning.A major healthcare move is coming to Meadville. Meadville Medical Center has announced it will relocate the Mill Run Pharmacy to the former Rite-Aid building on Market Street. MMC says the move is necessary to handle a massive surge in volume, with the pharmacy now filling 12,000 prescriptions a month. The new, larger location will be more accessible to public transit and feature a second drive-thru window.In our schools, homeowners in the Crawford Central School District could be facing the largest tax hike in over 20 years. The board is reviewing a preliminary budget that includes a 6.3 percent tax increase. Administrators say the hike is needed to cover rising healthcare costs and to prepare for a property reassessment in Mercer County. If approved next month, the average homeowner would pay about 124 dollars more per year.In television news, Meadville native and world-class chef Matt Peters fell just short of the grand prize on last night's season finale of America’s Culinary Cup. While the 2002 Meadville High grad put up a fight, Maine-based chef Cara Stadler took home the one-million-dollar prize.
